Terms and Conditions
Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB)
1. Provider and Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern all contracts concluded between
Leonie M.-LinkAlt Gonzenheim 21

Germany
Email: hello@landedfrankfurt.com
(hereinafter: “Provider”) and customers who purchase digital products or services through landedfrankfurt.com or via linked third-party platforms (hereinafter: “Customer”).
These terms apply to all purchases of digital products and services offered by the Provider, in particular the Starter Kit, the Expat Guide, and the Custom Integration Report. Deviating terms of the Customer do not apply unless the Provider has expressly agreed to them in writing.
2. Products
The Provider offers the following digital products:
Starter Kit (currently €19): A downloadable digital guide covering the first steps of relocating to the Frankfurt Taunus area. Delivered as a PDF file via Gumroad after purchase.
Expat Guide (currently €149–249): A comprehensive downloadable digital guide covering housing, schools, healthcare, taxes, and daily life in the Frankfurt Taunus area. Delivered as a PDF file via Gumroad after purchase.
Custom Integration Report (currently €499): An individually created digital report tailored to the Customer's personal relocation situation, based on a questionnaire completed by the Customer. The report is prepared on the basis of the Customer's specific inputs and delivered as a PDF via email. A maximum of five reports are produced per calendar month. This product is individually customized and therefore subject to a different withdrawal policy (see Section 6).
Product descriptions on the website and at the point of sale constitute an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer.
3. Contract Formation
Purchases are processed through Gumroad (Gumroad, Inc., 548 Market St #72878, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). By completing the checkout process on Gumroad, the Customer submits a binding purchase offer. The contract is concluded when the Provider confirms the order or the product is made available for download, whichever occurs first.
For the Custom Integration Report, the contract is concluded when the Provider confirms receipt of payment and sends the questionnaire to the Customer.
The Customer receives a confirmation email via Gumroad upon successful purchase. The Provider recommends saving or printing this confirmation for the Customer's records.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are final prices. The Provider operates under the small business regulation pursuant to Section 19 of the German Value Added Tax Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz, UStG). Accordingly, no value added tax (VAT) is charged and none is shown separately.
Prices displayed at the time of purchase apply. The Provider reserves the right to adjust prices at any time. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed.
Payment is processed exclusively through Gumroad. Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. The Provider does not process or store payment data. Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.
5. Delivery of Digital Products
Starter Kit and Expat Guide: After successful payment, the Customer receives immediate access to download the purchased product via Gumroad. Delivery is complete once the download link has been made available. The Customer is responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection at the time of download and for saving the file securely.
Custom Integration Report: After successful payment, the Provider sends the Customer a questionnaire within 2 business days. The completed report is delivered by email as a PDF within 7 business days of receiving the fully completed questionnaire. Delivery times may vary during periods of high demand; the Customer will be notified if a delay is foreseeable.
All products are delivered digitally. No physical shipment takes place. The Customer requires a PDF-compatible device or application to access the delivered files.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers resident in the European Union have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, pursuant to Sections 312b et seq. and Section 355 of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB).
Starter Kit and Expat Guide (standard digital downloads): The 14-day withdrawal right applies. The withdrawal period begins on the date of contract conclusion. For downloadable digital products not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal expires before the end of the withdrawal period if the Provider has begun performance with the Customer's express prior consent and the Customer has confirmed awareness that the right of withdrawal is lost upon the commencement of performance, pursuant to Section 356 (5) BGB. This consent is obtained at the point of purchase via Gumroad.
If the download has not yet commenced: The Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase by contacting the Provider at hello@landedfrankfurt.com.
Full details of the right of withdrawal, including the model withdrawal form and instructions for the Custom Integration Report, are set out in the separate Withdrawal Policy (Widerrufsbelehrung).
7. Exclusion of Withdrawal Right for the Custom Integration Report
The Custom Integration Report is prepared individually on the basis of information and specifications provided exclusively by the Customer via questionnaire. It is therefore a product manufactured according to customer specifications and clearly tailored to the Customer's personal needs within the meaning of Section 312g (2) No. 1 BGB.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the Custom Integration Report. By completing the purchase, the Customer acknowledges that the ordered report is individually customized and that no right of withdrawal exists.
If the Customer has provided incorrect or incomplete information in the questionnaire, the Provider will make reasonable efforts to accommodate corrections before final delivery. No refunds are issued after delivery of the completed report.
8. License for Digital Products
Upon purchase, the Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the purchased digital product for private, non-commercial purposes. The Customer may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sublicense, sell, or otherwise make available the purchased product or any part of it to third parties.
All intellectual property rights in the products remain with the Provider. Watermarked or personalized copies may not be altered or have identifying marks removed.
9. Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation for damages resulting from intentional misconduct or gross negligence, for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, and in cases of mandatory statutory liability.
For ordinary negligence, the Provider is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), i.e., obligations whose fulfillment is necessary to enable the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the Customer may regularly rely. In these cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
The products provided by the Provider offer general information for guidance purposes only. They do not constitute legal, tax, financial, or professional advice. The Provider accepts no liability for decisions made by the Customer on the basis of the information contained in the products.
The Provider assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or up-to-dateness of third-party information referenced in the products.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and all contracts concluded under them are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The statutory provisions protecting consumers in the consumer's country of residence remain unaffected.
For customers who are consumers within the EU, the place of jurisdiction is the Provider's registered place of business unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.
11. Consumer Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform, accessible at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our email address can be found in Section 1.
The Provider is neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board pursuant to Section 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, VSBG).
12. Amendments
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time with effect for future contracts. The version applicable at the time of the Customer's order forms part of the relevant contract. Customers are encouraged to review the current version of these Terms and Conditions before each purchase.
